About Thrive Wealth Management

You’ve worked hard for your success and deserve a financial plan that works equally hard for you. But how do you find the reliable advice needed to get you where you want to go? You need a true partner.

At Thrive Wealth Management,
we understand the process can be complex and that it’s hard to find someone to trust.

Our journey began with a simple yet powerful belief: that financial advice should be centered on people, not profits. In 2013, our founders, Steve and Mike, saw an industry too focused on the bottom line and set to work building a team serving Greater Philadelphia where helping clients achieve their life goals was the real measure of success.

His goal is to relieve clients of financial worries so they can focus on what matters most to them.

Ian began his career in 2015 at The Vanguard Group, supporting both retail investors and nonprofit corporations. In his current role, he’s committed to helping clients feel confident and prepared, with a focus on maintaining trust and being thoroughly prepared for every meeting. Ian earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation. Taylor Williams, MBA, partners with the firm’s advisors to help clients stay focused on their long-term financial goals. Taylor takes a hands-on, education-first approach, breaking down complicated financial decisions into plain language and working to help clients understand the “why” behind their plan. Taylor was drawn to Thrive for its independent, fiduciary model and its commitment to getting to know each client’s full financial picture before offering advice. Taylor’s calm, direct communication style gives clients a steady point of contact, particularly when markets get volatile. Above all, Taylor wants clients to feel like their finances are handled, so they can spend their energy on the people and things they care about most.

Before joining Thrive, Taylor worked as a financial advisor specializing in the education sector, helping teachers make sense of their pension benefits and get set up with 403(b) plans. That role went well beyond enrollment forms: Taylor delivered full financial planning support built around each teacher’s individual life and goals. It’s an experience that cemented Taylor’s approach to advice: thorough, personalized, and centered on the client’s complete financial life rather than any single account or product. Taylor carries that same philosophy into their work at Thrive, spending time up front to understand what each client is working toward before mapping out a plan to get there. Taylor holds an MBA and will be pursuing the CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) certification. Outside the office, Taylor enjoys traveling with friends and making time for family.

Andrew King is a Relationship Manager at Thrive Wealth Management, LLC, where he works alongside the firm’s financial planners to manage client relationships and help build comprehensive financial plans. Andrew approaches his work with a straightforward belief: good financial planning should make life feel simpler, not more complicated. He takes pride in being someone people can count on when questions come up or circumstances change. “I got into this work because I like being useful to people in a way that actually matters,” he says. “Money touches nearly every part of your life, so being the person someone trusts with it is something I take seriously.” For Andrew, the most rewarding part of the job is the long game—getting to know clients and watching their goals come into focus over time. “What matters most to me is the relationship,” he adds. “The specifics of a plan will always evolve, but looking to be someone clients genuinely trust is the part that stays constant.”

Andrew earned his BBA in Financial Planning from Temple University’s Fox School of Business and currently lives in Jeffersonville, Pennsylvania. Outside of the office, he spends as much time outdoors as he can—golfing, fishing, and staying active—and treasures time spent with friends and family. To learn more about Andrew, connect with him on LinkedIn.

Beth Cavanaugh is an Operations Specialist at Thrive Wealth Management, LLC. In her role, Beth draws on more than 25 years of experience in financial services to keep client relationships running smoothly. A service-oriented professional, she especially enjoys speaking with clients, answering their questions, and helping them feel confident and cared for.

Beth lives in Audubon with her husband, their college-age daughter, and the family’s dog and cat. She and her husband also have a grown son and three grandchildren. Outside of work, Beth enjoys reading, baking treats for friends, family, and pets, and spending time with her loved ones. She volunteers with Relay for Life and Fostering Hope, a nonprofit co-founded by her daughter-in-law. In her downtime, you’ll often find Beth outdoors, relaxing with her dog while binge-watching favorite shows, or traveling with her daughter to theme parks (they’re roller coaster fanatics).
