Michael Stanton: The work of a financial advisor is more complex than you might think. Most mornings start off the same way. I get my daughter to school, I’m five minutes from the office, and by the time I sit down, the day is already moving.
I’m Michael Stanton with Thrive Wealth Management. And today, I’m taking you through a day in the life of a Thrive advisor.
The first thing I do every morning is check in on client communications: emails, voicemails, anything that came in overnight. We’re committed to prompt responses every day. Whether we can answer your question right away or we need a little more time to dig in, you’re going to hear back from us. It comes down to a simple philosophy: Being available is the service.
No two days at Thrive look the same, and honestly, that’s what I love about this work. In one conversation, I might be walking a corporate executive through their stock option strategy, and in the next, I’m sitting down with a family trying to understand the financial side of losing a loved one.
Our meetings range from prospective client conversations to annual client reviews to deep dives into taxes, insurance, and estate planning. And between those conversations, we’re doing the work behind the scenes:
- Researching investments.
- Meeting with large institutions to stay on top of best thinking and strategy.
- Actively trading and rebalancing client portfolios to keep everything aligned.
The bottom line is Thrive advisors show up fully, both technically and emotionally, wherever you are in life. No two clients are identical, and they shouldn’t be treated that way. We work with people from many different careers and backgrounds, locally and all over the country. And the work goes well beyond the numbers.
Before we offer any guidance, we want the complete picture: your goals, your family, and what keeps you up at night. You will find us advising on many different topics:
- Helping young families start thinking about education.
- Flowing out of a client’s estate plan.
- Helping people build a real vision for retirement.
When it comes to connecting with clients, our care is personal, not transactional. We pour our energy and experience into every client relationship. Your success is our success. When someone tells us we’ve helped them find financial clarity, that’s what keeps us showing up every day.
Many of our colleagues have referred friends, colleagues, and family members to us. In this business, that’s the highest compliment you can receive. Our clients don’t just trust Thrive to manage their own finances; they trust us to take care of the people they love. And I take that personally.
I’ve got two kids, a third on the way, and a wife who keeps it all running. So, when a young couple asks me about saving for college, I get it. And when someone closer to retirement wants to know if they’ll be okay, I feel the weight of that, too.
Every client is in a different chapter, and our job is to understand what matters most in that chapter. For almost 13 years, Thrive Wealth Management has helped hundreds of families build stronger futures.
If you think we might be the right firm for your needs, we’d love to hear from you.Connect with us: 📞 Call: 215-376-5530 🌐 Visit: Thrivewealth.com
